My favourite time of year. The cold winters are past us, the days are now warmer and new life is sprouting all over the place.

The south-west of Western Australia is home to more than 350 species of terrestrial orchids and so now I’m off out to photograph as many different types as possible. Here’s one of the shots that I’m quite pleased with so far.
